Sony MDR-V6 - Studio Monitor Series Over Ear Headphones MDR-V6

Pros:

Performance: Good overall separation of tones; sound is particularly sweet in the upper mid-range. I’ve found a few few reviews that complain that the bass is lacking. I don’t agree. I find the headphones bring out the bass pretty clearly, but if you want more, you can always adjust the equalizer yourself.

Design: Very comfortable fit. I can easily fall asleep wearing them. Good fold-up design, lengthy coiled cord. I could see this being too long for active use (gym/running), but this can easily be solved using a rubber band or by tucking the cord into your pocket. For all other purposes, the length is valuable.

Cons:

Nothing stands out to me yet.

Other Thoughts:

Happy with my experience with headphones.com. Good price, free shipping. I think the shipping could have been a little faster; it took eight days (including the day of purchase, although I purchased in the morning) to get from New Jersey to Pennsylvania, but this is the free standard shipping. Otherwise, no complaints. I’ll be buying from headphones.com again!

Sony MDR-XB500 - Extra Bass Series Closed Back Over Ear Headphones with 40mm Driver These>Beats by Dre

Pros:

Beats the beats by a landslide. great price, comfort, and quality sound.

Cons:

Wire could have been a little longer, but not a big issue

Other Thoughts:

The title says it all. Recommended it to anyone who loves bass. Best headphones on the market, in my opinion!!

good sound,best price,light weight,SOOOOO COMFORTABLE

no detachable cable but at this price you can’t complain

Sony MDR-Q68LW - Clip-On Lightweight On Ear Headphones with Retractable Cord I love these!

Pros:

light weight, compact, retractable chord, decent sound quality

Cons:

None

Other Thoughts:

I can’t use earbuds--they always fall out of my ears and drive me nuts. These are small enough that I can always have a pair with me, they’re relatively inexpensive. They are perfect for my needs.

Sony DR-BT50 - Bluetooth Wireless Listen and Talk Closed Back Over Ear Headphones bluetooth headphones

Pros:

good sound, range, easy to charge no batteries, awesome!

Cons:

Would be nice if was round or swivelled so could wear backwards so it didn’t mess up my hair, wish the ear pieces were a little larger

Sony MDR-V700DJ - Studio Monitor/DJ Series On Ear Headphones Good

Pros:

-Collapsible into a pretty small size
-They seem to be pretty tough
-They don’t have that artificial bass boost that a lot of dj phones headphones add
-Good outside noise cancelling, but not too much
-Comfortable, they stay on your head, but don’t crush your skull
-Long cable

Cons:

-A little much of a boost in the 1k area.
-Not the most accurate sound reproduction, not the thing to use for mixing. Can be good for mixing if you want something to compare your monitor mix to.

Other Thoughts:

I’d recommend these for sure.
