These were for our son who turned 21 last week. He’s very happy with them. Loves the sound cancelling quality of them and the quality of music sound they give. Nice touch on the curve into the ear too...It helps the in-ear ear buds to stay snug.

I like the android compatibility feature, although I use them at work plugged into my computer most of the time and was a little dissapointed with the control bar, expecting it to be like the 3 button S4i instead of a single button needing to be clicked 1, 2 or 3 times to navigate your tracks. My Sony ear buds block out external noise a little better. These are really only my second pair of ear buds, so I don’t have much to compare them to. I would have liked to have purchased one of their X models, but its hard to justify that kind of expense. I bought the Monster Turbines - Do Not Waste Your Money! I took them back and wound up buying these. As a person who loathes shopping, I spent hours listening to various models of headphones. The only other ’earbuds’ that came close were the Miles Davis (monster) Pro.
My musical taste is quite particular yet, from Brahms: Concerto in D (Nigel Kennedy), Milt Jackson, Miles Davis, Vast Opus, Brand X, Savoy Brown, Oregon, John Scofield, Jerry Garcia (Legion of Mary), Wishbone Ash, Camel, Marillion, Cowboy Junkies, Neil Young, . . . All come through with great clarity. A couple of days ago, I listened to Franz kafkas Meteamorphisis on tape allCrisp, clear, clean, – cannot stop listening with them.All

They came in a sturdy box with enough protection to keep the headphones safe. upon opening the packaging I quickly saw how great they looked. They are very shiny and clean looking. As soon as I put them in my ears I fell in love. They are the most comfortable headphones i have ever put in my ears. This alone was worth the money. Every skullcandy headphone i have ever tried didnt fit right and kept falling out. Not the case with these. the tips are an oval instead of a circular shape making them contour to the ear much more comfortably. The build quality was a 4/5 to me. They will definitely hold up to some abuse but for those who really abuse headphones should get the rugged version. Everything feels of very high quality. The silver parts of the buds feel cold like metal but i am not sure if it is metal because they are light weight. However, the true beauty of these headphones are the sound.
These headphones needed about 10 hours of burn in to get to their actual sound quality. They sound like nothing i’ve ever heard in an in-ear headphone. The bass is super smooth and not overpowering while still giving a good kick. The treble and vocals are very clear and are free of ringing, echoing, etc. They have very crisp mids and highs. The sound is far better than what i would expect for $70. Overall I am extremely pleased with these headphones. I will never buy skullcandy ever again after using these. I would even buy these over beats by dre tours even if they were both the same price. Even if these were $150 they would be worth every penny in my eyes.
