Unplug and enjoy. The MDR-RF4000K digital wireless headphones system gives you the freedom to travel up to 100 feet from your sound source while delivering phenomenal sound. This system includes Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, 2.4GHz RF digital transmission and headphones with a 40mm driver for deep bass. Includes charger and ultra-long battery life.

  • Driver Size - 40mm drivers deliver deeper bass, lower distortion and wider dynamic range.
  • Comfort - A wide, self-adjusting headband distributes the headphone's weight over a wide area, reducing pressure and improving comfort.
  • Listen from a Distance - Radio Frequency (RF) transmission sends signals from the transmitter to the headphones, allowing high fidelity sound reproduction. You can enjoy the accompanying reception range - up to 100 feet - even when you move outside the line of sight of the transmission.

 I have had headphones of other brands, and fortunately they have worn out, because this Sony MDR925RK wireless headset is far superior in every way This is an excellent product.
 
Plastic noise11/12/2011
 I now have two of these headphones and use them together from the same source and simultaneously from two independent sources. They do lack a little bass but that is to be expected and is not objectionable. They do have one problem that keeps them from being a five star product. That is the annoying click and squeak from the plastic head gear. I would hope enough of these reviews would get back to Sony and they could provide a solution. I very carefully applied a little WD-40 to some areas but it didn’t help.

 Can’t say I’m happy with the product. There is a constant annoying sound of plastic rubbing against plastic, if you move even the slightest. Bass performance is very weak. Even though these are closed speakers, the sound is very hollow. Frequent interference sounds when I leave the room, even with the volume turned up from the amplifier.
