What Sennheiser has to say
Collapsible high-end headphones ideal for professional monitoring use. The HD380 Pro offer a closed circumaural design which provides excellent passive attenuation of ambient noise. They also utilise Sennheiser’s Eargonomic Acoustic Refinement (E.A.R) design which channels the audio signal directly into the user’s ears.
These professional monitoring headphones also provide an extended frequency response with increased sound pressure level (up to 110dB) for accurate sound reproduction in all kinds of demanding use. Not only that, the lightweight and secure-fit design offers a very comfortable listening experience to the sound professional who has to wear them over long durations.
Customer Reviews
Sennheiser Quality and service.
I purchased a set of Pros in the not to distant past. They quit working after six months. (My Grandson of 4 years stepped on the cord.) In trying to get them repaired I found that the cord was not currently available due to the specific model that I had. I spoke to the good folks here followed by the people at Sennheiser that answer the phone. They suggested someone here in the Midwest might be of assistance. As to date the headphones now reside in a scrapbin in my shop rather than my stereo cabinet.
Good sound but a bit heavy
These headphones sound really good, but for the price, I was expecting a bit more. Then again, I'm not a huge audiophile, so maybe the awesomeness of the sound is missed on me. They're comfortable, but they're pretty heavy so I can't wear them for too long at a time.
Heavy on one side
I am really sensitive to weight, and all those these things are comfortable, that cord that hangs off on one side makes me annoyed. They sound pretty good though.
Nice headphones! Great for travel.
These headphones sound great. They're super comfortable and work nearly as well as noise-canceling headphones at blocking out noise in the office or on a plane. Plus the really nice carrying case let's me throw them in my backpack or carry-on without worrying about damaging them. Really like these!
Comfortable and sounds great!
I just got these a couple weeks ago and I have been using them all day at work. They're closed, so I pretty much don't hear all my co-workers talking around me and the music sounds really good. They're really cushy around the ears too, so they've been comfortable.
