Check out Resolve Reviews' video shootout that compares the Campfire Solaris with other high end IEMs:
A brand new flagship IEM is here, the Campfire Audio Solaris. The summation of Campfire’s experience creating In-Ear Monitors, Solaris combines everything learned from the Polaris, Andromeda, Atlas and Vega, and molds that knowledge into the ultimate hybrid driver IEM experience.
Holographic presentation, intimate detail retrieval, soaring highs, engaging midrange, and impactful bass await you. Music sounds like music with lifelike performances, superior layering and unbelievable imaging. The traditional wall between high end two-channel hi-fi and personal audio just got thinner.
Solaris is a stunning hybrid design which incorporates Campfire Audio’s many acoustic technologies, blending the efficiency and clarity of two custom T.A.E.C. balanced armature drivers for high frequencies, a larger rear-ported balanced armature for rich delivery in the midrange, and the direct physicality of a specially tuned 10mm A.D.L.C. dynamic driver optimized with Campfire’s own Polarity Tuned Chamber.
This is not the Andromeda or the Atlas. Solaris is bigger and better with smooth highs, deeply engaging mid frequency tonality, and visceral bass response. The holographic presentation of the soundstage further sets Solaris apart from the rest of the flagship IEM crowd as something truly unique.
Ken Ball and his team assemble every Solaris in their workshop in Portland, OR to guarantee that every headphone that leaves their hands will arrive in yours with with no detail overlooked.
Campfire’s brand new flagship cable The Super Litz is included and made from four large conductors of Silver-Plated Copper Litz wire. The Super Litz defines the perfect balance of physical gauge and performance, ending with Beryllium/copper MMCX terminations and an over-molded 3.5mm plug.
