The iBasso DX300 is the fully evolved new flagship music player from iBasso. The DX300 is a reference digital audio player (DAP) that houses dual system controllers along with dual batteries. The 6.5inch near-bezel-less screen is incredibly sharp and vibrant with an ultra-HD resolution of 2340x1080.
The DX300 utilizes a patented dual battery structure with the AMP and digital section being powered by independent batteries. The independent battery provides a sufficient power supply to ensure the stability of the AMP section and it isolates the digital section interference to achieve better overall sound quality. This ensures that the analog section receives extremely clean DC, allowing the AMP section to perform to its fullest. When a single battery is powering the entire system, a large demand of current by the digital section and the analog section can affect each other, which can cause distortion, that ultimately degrades the sound quality.
A feature of the DX series is the replaceable AMP card design. AMP cards provide for more variety, personalization, and enjoyment of your music. You can change output port configuration, circuit design, play time, and much more. The DX300 music player features the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform, 5th Gen Mango OS + Android 9.0 OS, 6GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage with external expansion option, and Quad CS43198 DAC chips, the current flagships from Cirrus Logic. Get a flagship DAP without the flagship price.
4pcs CS43198 DAC, 2 batteries one for Digital and one for Analogue. Our own FPGA chip and the Snapdragon 660 for Two controllers. Android 9 OS, 6.5inch capacitive full screen. Stock AMP11 module is 2.5,4.4,3.5 and all can be used for line out. The back is a matte finished glass.
Separate Analog & Digital Power Supplies
The power supply is one of the most crucial parts of a system and affects audio quality in a positive or negative way. In the DX300’s power supply, we have innovatively used separate analog and digital power supplies with independent power supply management systems. The analog section is powered by a dedicated battery without any interference from the other sections. This ensures that the analog section is receiving extremely clean DC.
FPGA-Master: A Dedicated Controller
In the traditional audio players, the SoC and the OS are in charge of many tasks at the same time. Audio playback isn’t the main process and often doesn’t have the highest priority. The DX300 features a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) to eliminate the negative influence from the OS’ multi-task processes. The FPGA works between the SoC and the Digital to Analog Converter (DAC). It is dedicated to requesting data from the SoC, then sending that data to the DAC. In this application, the FPGA is working in master mode in the entire audio process using two Accusilicone Fentosecond oscillators as the clocks while synchronizing all audio clocks. The FPGA and oscillators also reduce jitter to an extremely low level, building a clean digital audio signal.
14nm 8-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660
The DX300 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 as the SoC. With the powerful performance of this 14-nanometer, 8-core processor, there is currently no other SoC in the field of digital audio players that can match it! With 6GB of RAM there is ample memory for a consistent and fast response and the 128GB of onboard storage space allows for the convenience of installing more apps and music.
Patented Dual Battery Power Supply Structure
The power system is one of the most significant parts of a music player and has a decisive influence on its sound quality. SoC, DAC, AMP, and other components all have strict requirements for transient power supply. When a single battery is powering the entire system, a large demand of current by the digital section and the analog section can affect each other, which can cause distortion degrading the sound quality. The DX300 utilizes a patented* dual battery structure with the Amp and digital section being powered by independent batteries. The independent battery provides a sufficient power supply to ensure the stability of the amp section and it isolates the digital section interference to achieve better overall sound quality.
Quad CS43198 DAC Chips
Utilizing 4 Cirrus Logic flagship CS43198 chips to form a DAC array, the DX300 has a total of eight DAC channels with each of the eight having Low Pass Filters. These DACs are double-paralleled to achieve fully balanced output. Dual DACs in parallel can effectively reduce the discrete distortion caused by a single DAC chip due to the manufacturing process and environmental influences, which greatly improves the sound density and performance.
Replaceable Amp Card
A replaceable amp card design provides for more variety, personalization, and enjoyment of your music. The DX300 patented amp card design provides a wide range of possibilities with future amp cards to come. Longer play time, different output ports, different circuit designs, and synergy matching can be achieved by changing to a different card.
Discrete Amp Card AMP11 Comes Standard
The default amp card, AMP11, is based on AMP8's discrete circuit and is equipped with 3.5mm single-ended, 2.5mm balanced, and 4.4mm balanced output ports. All ports can also be changed to line outputs. A ±8V power supply provides sufficient and stable energy for the amp section. The maximum output current of the transistor reaches 2.7A, which allows the AMP11 to drive IEMs and headphones that require high current with ease. The maximum voltage output of the DX300 reaches 7.1Vrms, and thanks to the independent battery power supply, the maximum output power of 32&Ohm; load is as high as 1240mW.
.5-inch High-Resolution Screen
The DX300 adopts a 6.5-inch full-screen design with a very narrow border. The screen resolutions is 2340x1080 pixels with a quality color reproduction that makes it second-to-none in a digital audio player. There is also an indicator light on the top of the screen which signals the working status of the device at a mere glance.
5th Gen Mango OS + Android 9.0
DX300 uses a Linux-based operating system specially developed for music playback, the 5th generation Mango OS. With Qualcomm 660's powerful GPU acceleration, the smoothness of operation has caught up with the Android system. The DX300 is also equipped with the Android 9.0 OS, which is far smoother than many of today's mainstream DAPs. You can freely install most apps and enjoy online streaming.
Speedy and Carefree Wireless Experience
Bluetooth 5.0 + 5G WiFi 2x2 MIMO
With an upgraded internal antenna, the DX300 gives you great coverage. The 5G wifi adopts a 2x2 MMO antenna design, with two input and two output channels, resulting in a significant upgrade to data transmission speed and data volume. The DX300 supports Bluetooth 5.0 with an enhanced antenna that provides a stronger signal over a greater distance.
Outstanding Flagship Sound Performance
In the core measurements the DX300 continues to excel. The measured signal-to-noise ratio is 125dB, the dynamic range is 125dB, and the THD+N is -113dB. These measurements lay the foundation for the flagship sound. The maximum voltage of the DX300 balanced output is 7.1Vrms, and it effortlessly drives most full-size headphones. The output power with 32&Ohm; load reaches 1240mW, a very high score among portable DAPs.

Return Policy Abuse
In order to provide a 365-day return policy, we need to take abuse seriously.
We monitor a buyers ratio of purchased to returned products. If it exceeds an internal threshold they will no longer be allowed to place orders with Headphones.com. This includes customers who spread returns across multiple accounts.
We made our return policy to help you find gear you feel great about for a long time. Most people use it exactly as intended. We don't want the handful of people who attempt to abuse our policy to ruin it for everyone else.
If you paid with a cryptocurrency, the returned amount will be equal to the USD equivalent of your payment on CoinGecko.com at the time the refund is processed. The return will be made in the currency of your original order.
After You've Made a Return
Each return is inspected at our warehouse. During busy times these inspections may take a few extra days.
Refund or Credit
We will notify you by email when your refund or credit has been processed. It may take a few business days for a refund to appear in your account. This is determined by your financial institution.
